And so, along with contributing to the Savannah Affordable Housing Fund, we have granted $15,000 to the Savannah Philharmonic to support their education initiatives.

Music and art are—and must be—for everyone.
For underfunded public schools, art and music programs often get left behind. The Savannah Philharmonic helps fill the gap by sending their musicians—and even instruments—directly to schools. Their educational initiatives work to inspire children and nurture their talents. The Musical Safari program gives elementary schoolers hands-on experience with as many instruments as possible, SavPhil’s world-class musicians teach students of all ages, and musical director Keitaro Harada designs concerts for 3,000 5th graders each year.
